Fringe 2017 Is Approaching!

Once more, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe is nearly here. The team behind this podcast have been busy over the last few weeks booking guests, organising interviews, and working on some new ideas (and locations) for the show.

What we can guarantee is that the Edinburgh Fringe Podcast will, once more, be your daily guide to the biggest arts festival on the planet.

Over the next week we’re going to bring you some of our classic Fringe interviews from the archives, starting on Monday 31st July. Our regular one-hour daily shows will start on Monday 7th August. We’ll be broadcasting the shows around the world on FM, AM, and DAB thanks to our partners at Radio Six International (who will broadcast the show at 9pm every weekday night at radiosix.com, with a morning rebroadcast at 9am the next day).

You can subscribe to the podcast in Tunes, follow the RSS feed, or listen to the daily show here on the website, but if you want to be first to hear our guests we have a brand new option for you. This year, we’ll be recording live with a studio audience!

Between 12 noon and 1pm, Monday to Friday, come along to the Basement Theatre at the new Rose Theatre (204 Rose Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4AZ), sit in the audience, and join in the fun with our constantly changing roster of co-hosts, guests and interviews. It’s free to attend, but you do need to request a ticket from the box office of the Rose Theatre (or from any venue run by Gilded Balloon, Assembly, Pleasance, or Underbelly).

We’re going to tweak the name slightly for these live shows in the listings, so look out for ‘Ewan Spence’s Edinburgh Fringe Radio Show‘, which should be appearing in program guides and box offices over the next few days.

In the meantime, if you want to get in touch with show suggestions, press releases, or general advice, email me on ewan@thepodcastcorner.com.
